Prestons Contractors has been family owned since the 1950s, and passed down for three generations. We are proud Desfordians through and through, and work to support our community in various ways.

Desford Scarecrow Festival
We are annual sponsors of the Desford Scarecrow Festival, supplying unlimited straw for scarecrow building! We also provide and place bales for seating.

This year's festival will take place from Saturday the 26th to Monday the 28th of August. We can't wait to see what you make!
The Ashby Show
We are proud sponsors of the Ashby Show, one of the biggest agricultural shows in the Midlands.
Set in the English countryside, in the heart of the National Forest, the show is committed to the support of agriculture and the drawing together of town and country.

Facilitated by the Ashby de la Zouch & District Agricultural Society, p​rofits from the show go to fund scholarships for agricultural students from the local area.
